Make sure that your Appeal is well crafted before you submit it. The reason is that each subsequent appeal is much harder to win. You really want to solve the issue on the first shot. This is the main reason why clients mainly choose professionals to submit the appeal. It is not worth screwing up.
Never blame Amazon even though Amazon is probably to blame. Too often I see sellers take an antagonist approach with the Seller Performance Rep. This is a bad idea. Your appeal will quickly find it’s way to the bottom of the pile.
Your Amazon Appeal is too long. The Seller Performance employee has 4-5 minutes to go over your Appeal. The more concise you make it, the better. Make sure that you are factual and provide hard evidence in your Appeal.
- Apologies work. If you did something unintentionally or because of lack of knowledge – accept your error and apologize. Just like in the court: a candid confession mitigates the punishment. It’s okay to admit your mistakes, but you must show your plan to improve.
Having said that, Amazon receives a great number of appeals every day, and you need to make sure, that yours stands out, responds to the requirements, and gets their attention (in a good way!).
Spending time writing useless appeals will cost you more than the fee for a professional appeal service, which will reinstate your business quickly and stress-free.
